San Marzano Trattoria: Authentic Italian Pizza & Pasta in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY

I went here with my family to celebrate a birthday- been meaning to go here since the reviews were very positive. They were not wrong! I was pretty impressed with the dishes we ordered- garlic knots( a little bit on the greasy side but really yummy and crispy), pizzas and pasta. The service was great, the food excellent, the atmosphere cozy.

Finally tried this place and WOW, we were honestly blown away. The pizza dough was great and the pasta was amazing. So fresh and you can tell it's homemade. Every single ingredient was fresh and of great quality. The two things I can say are, the meatballs were a little spicy/gamey and the garlic knots were a little hard to bite... not what I prefer but still good. However, we are so happy and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Pizza is good pasta is pretty good calamari was not crispy at all and the portions of everything is pretty small. There's a lot of pizzerias in the area but none that are coal fire which I love because it's super thin the only thing is it was burnt around the edges which I'm fine with but it's floppy in the middle I've had coal fired Pizza that is crispy all around so I know it has room for improvement.... but to be fair it is a brand new location so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. Definitely stop in and try especially if you never had coal fire Pizza before just keep in mind when you order a pizza that is a personal pan pizza size.

This place has phenomenal pizza from an authentic wood fire oven! It's so light and delicious flavors with a great selection of different pies. Also the pasta is made fresh in house and then cooked to a perfect al dente. Even better is to finish off this delicious meal is with the BEST cannoli and a great cappuccino! My family can't get enough of this place!

Ordered garlic knots, pepperoni and sausage pizza, and a pasta dish. Knots were soft, light,, and dripping with garlic butter. Crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Best I've ever tasted. Personal size pizza was so tasty, I almost ate the entire thing right then and there. Probably would have if I hadn't already eaten the knots. Wife said the pasta was excellent. Totally recommend this place. BTW, fully stocked bar if ur going for a night cap, but u have to try the pizza. Check out the wood burning pizza oven too. Very nice place.

Blown away! First time here and the food is amazing (especially the brussels sprouts appetizer!) as well as amazing service! Also the place is beautiful and the pricing is VERY affordable for the quality. (And they carry coke products which is a huge plus to me) I will definitely be a regular! Thrilled to have found San Marzano.

Me and my girlfriend went here for Valentine’s Day and to our surprise, they only had a 20 minute wait. The place looked incredibly expensive so I was ready to pay some good money.The service was great and the food came quick despite them being packed. We got 2 appetizers and 2 entrees with multiple soft drinks. To my surprise everything came out to only around $65 before tip. Everything was great and id absolutely come here again.

I ordered three different pizzas and the meatball appetizer. The pizzas were all delicious, however, the meatballs were embarrassingly small. I can't imagine someone would handform meatballs this small, and they were about the same size or smaller than frozen swedish meatballs. The sauce they were served in was also delicious.
